The accelerator, led by Estonia’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-EE) and Tehnopol, is one of the most competitive and prestigious cybersecurity programs in the region. This initiative is designed to support early-stage cybersecurity startups by providing access to leading experts, government institutions, and validation from global cybersecurity leaders. From Passport.GG to Valvur: A Strategic Evolution

Launched in 2020 as Passport.GG, we've been working on the problem of digital identity for gamers. Our vision has evolved to align with the growing threats in gaming security and we've shifted towards the notion of cybersecurity . Recognizing the increasing need for enhanced protection against cyber threats, scams, and fraud, we pivoted to Valvur—a name inspired by the Estonian word for ‘Guardian.’

This rebranding reflects our refined focus: to build a robust cybersecurity solution tailored for gamers and esports communities. Our participation in the cyber accelerator validates this transition, ensuring that we are developing solutions that meet the highest security standards set by top experts in the field.
